2,000 years later and people still believe in delusional theories such as Jesus walking on water? How could you believe something like that when there is no proof?

Proof is a rather relative term in this case. What you view as a lack of proof, others may view as indisputable evidence. It all depends on what you choose to believe.

I don't believe it personally but it is important and equally as true to other people. They believe on faith alone. Such is their option and who is to say who's wrong?

The proof hung on that cross 2000 years ago for me and you, and every1 else n this world. Jesus is proof, and his word the Holy Bible is proof. He took the beating we all should have for our sins, and took them up on that cross so we could be saved thru the power of the Holy Christ. And wether we choose to or not is a different subject. But I kno I did. Christ livs within me. Im a Christian. The Bible Is Proof enough too. Read It. If we say Christ was all a myth, then what about scientific theories?? We arent positive ourselves their true. But we learn through science books in school about stuff and believe it. Why cant u do it with the Bible????

I don't think it is just that they don't have the proof and blindly believe it, I think it starts a young age most of the time and they get nothing more given to them... They end up being (for the most part, not everyone) closed-minded and afraid to accept new ideas or theories. If they had been born in the far East they would most likely be a Buddhist, or in the Middle East a person of Islamic Faith, and so on... I think you can believe whatever your own truth is and you can survive and be happy just fine.

C.S. Lewis was originally an atheist. He tried to disprove those 'delusions' and decided that it was the atheists who were delusional. Perhaps you should open your own mind to such possibilities.

I can believe in such things because that Book has provided knowledge of a way of life which has worked well for individuals for 2000 years. Ultimately, such miracles only serve to attract attention to the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It is no small feat to create a book capable of teaching one not only how to love, but also how to succeed over all of the trials, tribulations, and dangers we face in our lives.
