Yes, it makes me ill that such seditious dirtbags can be considered to be legitimate in any way. I think the sedition act should be brought back and we should round up all the scum that keep trying to destroy the country.

Personally (and yes, despite some of my more "Liberal" views, I do consider myself a Conservative in the ways that matter), I think the elements of democratic election upon which my country was founded are much more important than any of the ones being altered by people like Pelosi and Kucinich. The bottom line is, if the people elect these people and approve of their actions, then they and their actions are legitimate, and the spirit of democracy, letting the people's will be that of the nation in which they live, is the most important ideal of America's founding.

Exactly what are they undermining?

Mad isn't the word I would use. Disgusted would be more fitting. They say we get the kind of government we deserve, may God have mercy on us.

I suspect, from the phrasing and context of your question, that you have no idea what the words "conservative" and "liberal" mean. Conservatism is predicated on the idea the collective rights outweigh individual liberties, and that communities are made stronger when individuals choose to cooperate rather than compete. Liberalism is a 19th century ideal based on the premise that the community is best served when every individual competes for resources, and that by guaranteeing individual freedoms rather than collective rights, more people experience more liberty. From the sounds of it, you are a liberal (or more likely a neo-liberal). Certainly your ultra-nationalist view is more in keeping with Nazi-style liberalism than union-style conservatism. And just FYI, I consider both you and the people you're raging against to be so nearly identical that I can hardly discern any difference. Your vision is so narrow, so contricted by nationalist dogma, that the tiniest factional differences seem gargantuan to you -- because everything outside those boundaries is literally invisible to you. I'm an anarchosyndicalist, and I agree with Ann Coulter on at least one point: when the angry mobs pull you from your SUV, they aren't going to care whether you vote Democrat or Republican. Trust me, when the penny drops and revolution erupts, all those folks you listed will be running for their lives right beside you.

Well, it just brings home that there are more of "them" then of "us". And yes, it does make me "sad" as the America my kids will inhherit will not be the America my father and husband fought hard to preserve.
