I did not wait nor wanted to wait.I was in my teens during the time of the sexual revolution and it was very common then to have sex without marriage.

i had sex a few days after my sweet 16, im now 23 not married and doubt i would have waited this long regarless. i want kids, and ofcourse someone to spend my life with, but marriage is just in the eyes of god...in the eyes of the law ur married after 7 yrs anyway "common law marriage" so in another 3 yrs i got that down. im happy and didnt wait. no kids yet, been careful, no STD's so on and so forth. do whats in ur heart. no pressure. if u wait for marriage, more power to u, most of us cant and thats awesome u can.

Well I've had sex in the past and I've never been married. It only means that I didn't wait until marriage to have sex.

The only person I married is the first person I slept with. We had the marriage lisence before we did this, but technically were married three days later. I was 19. Too bad he turned out to be such a jerk.

im 20 and yes, i waited until our wedding night,my husband wasnt a virgin though. It was the best feeling to be able to look him in the eyes and tell him that he is the only man I will ever be with, he felt bad that he couldnt do the same for me, but i love him more then life itself.

Well, I've never been married, but even if I wanted at some point to do it, I wouldn't have waited. I believe it's good to get experience. :)

I waited until I was with the man I would marry. He is the only one I have ever been with or ever intend to be with. I was very certain we were going to marry before I was with him. It probably would have been better if we'd waited a few more months, but I was already in my mid-thirties, so it wasn't like I didn't have control of myself or wasn't pretty certain of where we were going. I'd waited a VERY long time.

no i didnt wait. Also if i was to marry someone which i already did and that didnt work out and now that i am dating, i wanna try the motor on the car cause if the motor is broken then i dont want it :)

Yes, both my husband and I waited for marriage before we had sex. I've always been happy we waited and taken this journey together, explored together and enjoyed each other. Something new is new to the both of us. It's just very special, even after 35 years.
