  • I observe that most women are MUCH fussier about their clothes than men. When most men go shopping for clothes, they pick an item they like, see if it fits, and then buy it or not buy it and they move on. No so for women, most women want to look and almost everything in any store and then every other store and the whole while they are collecting information, about cut, style, color, price.... Basically, a woman shops for clothing with the same care and attention that a man shops for the tools of his trade. Look at most experienced mechanics and you see they have invested THOUSANDS of dollars in their toolbox, most tradesmen are really picky about their work tools... Sorta like most women are about anything they wear. It does not surprise me at all that you find most womens clothing, including the underwear, is made with finer sewn and hemmed edges, softer material, and is usually a lot easier to keep clean. Women typically insist on higher quality for something they wear, men typically insist on higher quality for some tools they use. By the way, a quick search of the internet shows me that you are not alone in your preference for women's underwear: http://www.pantiesformen.com/ , http://www.underpantiesformen.com/ , http://menwhowearpanties.blogspot.com/. Judging by the relatively high price for most of these articles I think it is pretty obvious that there are a LOT of men who are willing to pay a lot of money for a bit more comfort and quality in their underwear. There are now even bras that are made for men, to some people this might sound like an odd "kinky" fetish, but after having a severe case of "jogger's nipple" myself a few times, I seriously would consider some sort of sport bra thing myself, particularly on summer days or when I am carrying something heavy in my shirt pockest. It HURTS to have your nipples rubbed raw!
  • I feel like there is not much need for women to wear underwear unless they are having their girl time. but i still dont know why women get such comfy underwear and us men with out equipment have to wear sand paper and itch our underwear in public.
  • that's not fair! maybe its because the manufacturers are men...... :-(
  • Men are tough and lack sensitivity, both physical and emotional. We are rigid individuals who shun the comforts if this life for the callous existence of a Neanderthal. At least thats what we are told by the media. Try using fabric softener. Might help.
  • We insist upon it. Men seem happy to let it happen.
  • Sandpaper is correcto. I bought some mens underwear, made in Singapore, the other day. It was itchy-scratchy from the start. Wound-up in the trash can. Bought some Jake underwear and ahhhh, thats more like it. I do believe its a selling point for women to have better underwear than men. I am as macho a man as anyone else. But, after 8 hours of underwear wearing, lets face it, private parts do begin to complain. Let the painters keep the sandpaper.
  • Birth contractions, monthly periods and defiant kids aren't enough... Maybe we have "soft comfy material" on our asses because that is the only thing in our lives that makes us feel good... :)
  • I don't know, maybe more women should make comfy underwear for us men.
  • cz you keep buying it at Lowes.
