Russia has always been an area of fascination to me and I love the stories that Lermatov and Tolstoy wrote about the Kavkaz campaign under the Tzars of the period in their unjust struggle to gain land in the Caucasian region and their eastward expansion into the land of Tatary and their struggle against the British to maintain their eastward hegemony in the late 18th century.

Thank you for your warm words about Russian culture, it`s realy rich and it teaches people to be kind,helps to understand the meaning of many things in life, it teaches you to stay a human in every situations, to be tolerant and respect other cultures.For example I can`t imagine myself answering like one person on here- I am not terribly interested ,there are more interesting cultures out there, to me.
Of course, Russian culture will not become less richer because he does not want to know it, it`s him who loose chance to open something new and important to himself.
