I am lactose intolerant, so any cheese eatting before bed always give me nightmares!! I'm sure that it applies to cheesecake...

I've never had a problem eating cheesecake before bed or at anytime. That just sound like it would be against nature, too cruel!!

i heard something about that before but i think it applies to anything dairy.(milk, cheese, possibly yogurt) i used to worry about it but who cares. lol. cheese is best before bedtime. :)

I had read that a slice of cheese before bedtime actually promotes *good dreams* where as chocolate and other considerable junk food items create bad ones... :o( I would imagine the cheesecake would not have too much of a negative affect even though it does contain enough calories to be a 'junk food'(unfortunately) My guess is that you wouldn't notice as much of a nightmare as maybe you would an unsettled stomach during sleep. I think most dairy is quite heavy before bed but supposedly a warm glass of milk promotes good sleep as well. I say eat the cheesecake and hang up a dream catcher. Cheesecake is the ultimate exception to any rule...it's just that good! :o) ~Sweet dreams
