Not really, you can try wash your face more but facial treatment will have the best result. Remember, it will cost you way more moeny to fix it if the damage is done. Beware!

    okay try these ways:
*avoid too much fried foods (fries, chips, pizza, etc)
*do not touch your hair and then touch your face
    *drink plenty of water
*sometimes putting toothpaste on the pimple will make it less red and irritable
*do not wash face to much (2-3 times a day)
*putting a hot washcloth on the area will help and give relief
    *do not pop your pimples
    *popping can lead to scars
*if you mess with your pimples too much, they can and will get worse and more infected
*creams can help but if you use it too often, you will dry out your skin and get your skin blotchy and red
*coke and sodas are bad for your skin
*pimples can form from sweat so if you exercise a lot, it would be a good idea to wash your face after you do so
*do not overdose on medications, ask your doctor
*putting a dab of soap on your pimple can help it swell down
*cold water is refreshing but warm water is better for your skin
*if none of these things are working, try to leave your face alone for a week, sometimes doing too much can result in making things in worse conditions!**

Somethings that have worked for me - first, make sure you change your pillowcases at least once a week. Make sure hair is washed at least once a week. Abstain from Coke. Limit coffee and tea to one cup a day or less. Take Vit. A , 25,000 units a day for one month. The first recipe is good. Or eat carrots, sweet potatoes, and other beta-carotene foods. Don't rest your hands on your face. Its best to also eat well. Plenty of vegetables, limit potato chips and french fries. Last, wash your face morning and before you go to bed. If you can afford Queen Helene clay mask, it will help. It is about $3 at some of the drugstores. Good Luck. Hope this helps.

Try mixing baking soda with warm water until it becomes a paste. It really helps with the redness , but it also can dry your skin out so get some moisturizer.

Drinking more water is also a good remedy.

I always used antiseptic mouthwash. I thought if it kills germs in your mouth it should work on your face too, even if they aren't the same type of germs, and it did! I was the person in my group who had the fewest breakouts. Keeping your face clean and eating healthy helps too.

i have one that i do! now try this:

    1 avacado
    2 eggs
2 bits of WHOLEMEAL tost (no butter)
    4 bottles of water
    1/2 carrot

now one day a week (i go friday so i am all detoxed) eat that and only that! you will feel refreshed and also your skin will start clearing up as i have noticed. the night of your detox hold a hot flannel above your face so your pores will be cleared and have also been detoxed so the build of grease has been broken down! :) good luck

Drinking tons of water, taking EFA supplements, eating less dairy and meat have worked wonders for my skin.

Oh, and not ovulating. Ovulation brings the pimples back every now and then. Yay, hormones.

ok this is going to sound really gross but it works i promise! in the morning when you first wake up use the last part of your urine and put it on yourr face with a towel or cloth. it stings a little but leave it on for 15 min. and then wash it off. do this every day and you will see improvement!

For what it's worth, I moved to the Soviet Union just after it collapsed. Every young person without exception had clear and perfect skin. Then the diet Westernized and you see acne all over the place.
