    yup.

    i use "exact audio copy" i think it's the most acurate ripping program. although i'm not sure if it's freeware or if i pirated it.

    Here's one that I use, Oregon. It's a full function trial for 21 days http://www.coffeecup.com/mp3-ripper/
    Then there's this one, also a freebie, and has absolutely no restrictions, but I haven't tried it, so can't comment on how easy it is to use, http://www.download.com/3000-2140-10384932.html

    Your best bet is to go to http://www.download.com. Your search criteria must be CD ripper. Check that the licence for the software is free and away you go.

    There is an advanced search method which filters only freeware, but beware. Read carefully the terms before downloading and just how "free" it is. Some are free to try and have restrictions such as letting you rip the first few tracks only until you pay a nominal amount in registration.
