  • A few things come to mind, A. If it is a side post battery there is a chance that the terminals at the battery have left indentations on the battery term face and simply are not making a good connection with the battery. B. The ground could be loose at the engine where it mounts or the positive cable can be loose at the starter sol. I really believe you are going to find the problem at the battery terminal connections though. Just because the connections look and feel good does not mean they are good.
  • Disconnect cables from battery, and clean cable ends and battery posts (side or top posts, same procedure) with wire brush.
