How would the American economy be affected if all the Amish people there started to claim state benefits?

    My answer is that I think they should receive something for NOT being a burden on the rest of us the last 200 years.

    It wouldn't. There just are not enough Amish to significantly affect the state. Or maybe I should have said "it shouldn't", due to our current economic situation.
