We are financing our house thru the owner. We make the check out to the owner but mail it to the bank. Can we request from either the bank or the credit bureau to submit this info on our credit?

Basically you are sending the check to the owner whether or not you are mailing it to the bank - they are just direct depositing it for you, so you could not ask the bank. Most of the big credit bureaus would probably not accept the information, however I would ask the owner for a letter once a year that says you have made all your payments on time. Put it in a file and keep it there with a copy of all your checks. If you are going to refinance later through more conventional means, these letters might come in handy. Normally a local bank (rather than a big conglomerate bank) will give this kind of information more weight. Good luck!
