Well, yes and no. The iPhone 3G is only available on contract at the moment (in England atleast I'm not sure about anywhere else). Your contract will probably include a certain amount of 3G usage. You will use 3G for the internet when your not near a wifi hotspot. So, yes you will be charged for 3G for the internet; but you will not pay to use wifi, unless the hotspot your using is one that you have to pay to use, in which case its the people that are providing the wifi that are charging you, not whoever your contract is with. If you are using your own home wifi, then your obviously paying your internet provider for that.
