  • Call your insurance company. Really there is a lot wrong here - you should have gotten all of their information even if no damage was done.
  • Without the other car's license plate number, I'm not sure there is anything you can report, unless you want to make a claim to your own insurance company for damage you caused to your own car. In the future, even if the other driver doesn't want to give you their personal information, you can always get the license plate number and physical description of the driver.
  • There isn't much you can do. If there was no damage, than it is unlikely that the other driver would have any need for your information. You should have been sure to get thiers though, if they were asking for yours. Wait for them to call, and get their info then.
  • thanks for your answers and advice... I failed to get information from them as this was my first collision and haven't had to do anything like this yet. thanks again!
  • report for? is there a damage to your car? i mean i once bumped a car while parking because i was running late for work. there was no damage to the car so the owner never bothered to get any of my info nor vice versa. which is too bad since he's cute. should have bumped him harder :D j/k
  • I suggest you call your insurance company before they do. It's possible they may not, but don't let them get the jump on you. Your agent will help you with the best course of action. They don't want to pay for something they don't need to any more than you want marks on your record with them.
