Many fuels can be run in diesel engines. After a check on the internet I have learned that motor oil, vegetable oil, kerosene, transmission fluid, peanut oil(what the diesel engine was created to use), and probably some others I missed, can all be used with great success.Even hydraulic oil just make sure it's filtered.

as long as i heard, you can. i´m wondering the same question. Do you know someone that`s actually driving his diesel engine using used hydraulic oil? c ya

i believe so, i do know of two poeple running on hydraulic, but never ( yet ) tried it, i,m told it runs good, i would try a mix of 70% hydraulic 10% diesel. i will be useing it soon, but a little concerned about the car warranty
