    I heard the difference is that a Hawaiian is making money selling it. The point is tha Hawaiians use many mainland products- but they call it Hawaiian to make money in their tourist attractions. Even the hula skirt did not originate in Hawaii.

    My wife grew up in Hawaii and every time we go for a visit she HAS TO HAVE SHAVED ICE! From what I can tell, that Hawaiian shaved ice is a much finer shaving and the selection of flavours is GREAT!
