  • McDonald's sells products that the market demands. If they didn't some other company would fill the void. Consumers seek McDonald's products because of many factors. Some are: price, convenience, and uniform standardization. Customers don't have to think about choice at McDonalds -- they just go back and buy what they always buy. For some people that is more important than anything else.
  • I can't think of any healthy, independently owned fast food places. Sure they aren't serving fried but that doesn't make it healthy. It is just as simple to ruin good food at one of those places than at MacDonald's to find a decent salad.
  • Because it tastes good and its cheap. Some people don't think that other independent places have food that tastes as good or that its too expensive. Theres more McDonalds than other independent places so its more easier for people to just go and get.
