It's the capitol of California and it is hot as Hades in September when they used to have the fair there at that time (perhaps they still do).

yea, my stepsister lives there. it's expensive as hell to live there. and there's a large russian community there as well. and the weather isn't all that great

The streets are easy to navigate because a lot of them are arranged in alphabetical and numerical order. When we visit we usually stay at the Vagabond which I think is on J street near Interstates 5 and 80.

I live in the suburbs just north of there, and I have a rental home in South Sacramento/Fruitridge area. Hubby works in North Highlands area, for now. The company is moving to Folsom next year. I live in such a self-contained area, that when my sis asked how I like Sacramento a year after I moved here, I had to tell her I don't know, I've never been there. Now that I have lived here 14 years, I have been, and I like it.
