  • Hi, Im going to bump this thread up as i have a similar problem. It started in Feb were i was getting very bad sores and pimples in my nose expcially the inside of the tip, but id squeeze them out and slowly they would go, but give it week or two and it comes back again, and im still getting it! Since this time my nose feels and looks like its swollen up abit and i seem to have a slight breathing problem on left side of my nose, as if something is stuck up my nostril. Has anyone else had this problem?
  • You might have impetigo, but only a Dr could tell you for sure. Have you tried putting a little Neosporin inside your nose twice a day for awhile? Impetigo is caused by a staph infection and the Neosporin will help kill the staph. It's made worse by nasal secretions and the nose stays crusty and sore inside. The ointment nature of Neosporin can help protect them from secretions. I'm not sure about feeling like something is stuck up your nose. Perhaps you have a large scab. I would get some nasal saline solution and use that twice a day also to clean the inside of the nose and soften and loosen up any scabs that might be present. It certainly is not going to hurt anything; so use nasal saline twice a day to clean the nose out. Let it air dry and then apply Neosporin. If that doesn't help then definitely see the Dr. I am a medical technologist-microbiologist and saw impetigo quite a bit in patient's noses. Good luck
