A few things * No Cannavaro * Zambrotta playing out of position for more than half the game * Incredible strike by Sneijder * Horrible, atrocious reffing for that first goal, and honestly for most of the game. Some guy laying on the field behind the net doesn't contribute to the off-side rule. * Luca Toni. Apparently playing in Germany he forgot how to finish. * Donadoni isn't that good of a coach. The scoreline really should have been 1-0, even though Italy didn't play very well for most of the match. Buffon was on his game and made some amazing saves. The first goal shouldn't have counted, the second goal was an amazing display of skill, but honestly wouldn't have happened had Zambrotta not been playing out of position, and that third goal was just Italy giving up. A team actually playing wouldn't have given up a header to a 5'6" player. The Dutch defense (apart from the goalkeeping) was horrible. I wouldn't worry, though, Italy isn't out of it. They got some bad calls, and lost to a really great Dutch team. France, on the other hand, looked downright pathetic.

I saw it on and off as I was doing something else. Apparently I didn't miss much. I did see the last goal though, which I wish I hadn't. Ugh! :o( The main thing that's wrong is we don't have Cannavaro. I don't have high hopes for our team without him...
