If it is viral like cold or flu your best bet is the freshly grated ginger with honey works like a charm,also gargle a little chloraseptic (which breaks numbs the pain and also helps break up the puss in your tonsils) then gargle some warm salt water. Those are one of your best bet but if its bacterial GO TO THE DOCTOR =]
