Have you ever answered a question on AB twice without realising it? Like as in answered it when it was new then saw it come up again a few days later and forgotten you'd already answered it?

I have done that yes. Usually, provided there are less than 100 answers, I eventually scan them all, but I will often answer again prior to searching. The funny thing is that my answers are not always the same... curious.

All the time, I have short term memory problems, so I forget that I answered it. I just did it a couple days, ago, but my answers are always consistent, LOL!!

Yes. I would like to see an asterisk or some other marker next to Qs that I've already responded to. Not that I don't ever want to respond more than once; there might be reasons for wanting to do that. But I would like to know in advance when I'm doing it. I don't scan every answer to some of the more popular Qs.
