  • King of all squirrels in Squirreltown
    the goverment sold off all the licenses for the radio frequencies to private companies, mostly mobile phone and other communication companies. basically they stand to make a nice pile of cash out of it so they went ahead digital fits into a much narrower badwidth so they dont need to own as many licensed frequencies, one good thing is mobile phone bills should get cheaper and reception will be better.
