How come I see people getting 1000+ mod points a week, but when I do 10 measly, sure-fire mods it takes over a week for anyone to get around to it?(I realize I may be answering my own question here.....;)

Last I heard there are a few thousand flags per day and there are 3 moderators. That has GOT to be hard to keep up with.

I'm also having the same problem. My mods get approved after 3 0r 4 days . I never get all my mods approved at a time.

Some people spend HOURS simply moderating... There are THOUSANDS of questions a day... Some are duplicates... Some are spam/offensive... Some are nonsense... And SOME are just in the wrong categories. Me... I just catch things as they hit the home page, occasionally I'll catch some on a profile I check out (most of the above are duplicates); and, occasionally, I'll hit a category that I know a LOT on miscategorized questions are entered in. BUT, I make most of my points answering questions.

Maybe that's all they do so they're better at it. I don't do "mod" so I have no personal experience. But you could ask AB staff...perhaps they can answer your question or perhaps one of our esteemed CL's can! :)
