God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts, it was played during my husband and my wedding. We had both been married before and it tells our story perfectly that "God blessed the BROKEN road that lead us straight together and that we had got lost a time or two, others who had broke our hearts were like Northern stars pointing us into the direction of each other". Makes me tear up just thinking about all we have been through and accomplished together!;~}

Bright Eyes by Simon & Garfunkel It was the theme tune from the film watership down In the film this song plays when the rabbits are crossing the road and most of them get knocked down. When i was very young i cried watching it and as the only film to make me cry, every time i hear the song it reminds me of the poor bunnys and the eyes well up.

oh wow- you ask a vocalist this! I once had to sing "Danny Boy" at a funeral. It was the name of the deceased's son, who had died a few years before his father. Now that chokes me up. Songs like "The Last Thing on My Mind" (Tom Paxton, sung by many including Neil Diamond) "Four Strong Winds" (Ian Tyson, sung by many including Neil Young) "In The Early MOrning Rain" (Gordon Lightfoot, sung by many including Peter Paul and Mary) but the one that never fails is by the late Christian artist Keith Green "A Billion Starving People" (I do aid work, so even thinking about children suffering makes me cry)
