Is there a site online where you can buy heartworm pills without a prescription?

    Heartworm pills are available at most feed stores. No "prescription" is required. Please be aware though that giving a dog heartworm medication if he already has heartworm can be harmful or fatal. You should have a blood test at the vet before giving your dog any medication.

    You can google Proheart to buy without prescription. It is best practice to get a heartworm check before administering any heartworm preventive. The active ingredient in proheart is not ivermectin so it is not an immediate death sentence to your pet as Heartguard -because you can not administer ivermectin to a dog with heartworms. I would go with proheart if you do not do the heartworm test.

    I hope i am not breaking any rules here. I run a site http://www.heartworm-medicine.info that has a deal with a supplier so many of the medications can be bought without a prescription. You must ensure that your pet has been tested first though if you have not given heartworm meds for more than 3 months.
