I'm no expert on peanut oil but I do work at Home Depot and I can tell you that much of what we carry depends on the store/district. Also the buyers. By that I mean "our" buyers, not the public. It's also a very seasonal item, most popular during the Holidays. You can go to your local Home Depot and ask to speak with the Department Supervisor for the department that handles peanut oil. In my store that would be Garden. Ask that DH if they can order it for you. They can check their system to see if it's available for regular stock. If so, I'm sure they will be happy to order. I hope this helps. If that doesn't work there's always Bass Pro Shops and Gander Mountain. Sue
Probably it was to expensive for the average user and if ya did buy it and weren't gonna fry a turkey it would go bad(rancid) before you could use it all.
I would guess that the Arabs have raised oil prices so high that even peanut oil consumers are feeling the burn!
