I have a 63 chevy c-10 stepside taht has a 3 on the tree tranny. i want to transfer it to an floor shifter

I wish i hadn't thrown away my shifter since it is what you're looking for. Anyway you could install a hurst 3spd floor shifter made for you're trans, it bolts up directly to the side of trans casing and shifter lever comes through floor Look in catalogs like LMC 60-66 chevy tucks

go to your local auto parts store you should find a universal 3spd shifter kit there the kit is self explanatory just unhook your original linkage and center your shifter be sure to measure for the center or you will not be able to shift without smashing your knuckles put the shifter on the floor tan run as if you were going to shift, the kit comes with a pretty easy desighn you may have to try diffrent likages that are with the kit it should also come with the boot to cover the hole in the floor i did the same on a 77

put a spectre 6413 3 speed shifter in it

I can not get my 1972 chevy truck to start. It gets fuel, turns over, but will not start. I checked all electrical wires and they are still connected. I drove it recently (about two weeks ago) and parked it without any problems. Anyone have any ideas?
