With the blood alcohol level so low in most States, why do bars have parking lots?

    It gives my designated driver a place to park while he drinks sodas and I whip his ass in a few games of pool.

    You can't even take a sip of alchohol in this country and drive. It is so low. Most bars are on a walking street and there aren't parking lots.
    But when I was in the US they have a thing about trying to get someone out of he group to loose out in the fun and be a designated driver.

    Never worked out when I went out, always had to call a friend to pick us up or take a taxi.
