I do, definetely! Because that is something that is mentioned, even if it is "myth" in almost every corner of the globe, a very long time ago... I suppose we killed them all, maybe for food, or pride, or safety. Maybe they just died out, like the dinos did!

water dragons ;-)

There still are. Kimodo Dragon's are all too real.

I'm pretty sure that dragons were actually dinosaurs. Why else would there be dragon myths all over the world if there wasn't SOMETHING? Even though it goes against the popular notion of evolution, there were dinosaurs and humans at the same time.

There was a rather interesting book called "Flight of the Dragons" whereby it attempted to explain the possible existence of a creature based upon lore and tales. One explanation for the flight was that, instead of use its wings as a means of lift, it used them as propulsion. How was lift created? By the creature filling bladders (similar to a fish) with Hydrogen gas. The Hydrogen gas could be produced from the Hydrochloric acid within the gut, reacting with Limestone (hence the high caves). The acidity of the dragon would also erode the bones upon death, leaving no trace. Also, since the bulbous dragon was no more than a Hindenburg with scales, the gas could be ignited somehow upon expulsion to create flame. Even the hoarding of gold and the strange conversations with passers-by have been dealt with. How much is true? We'll never know. But as pointed out, dragon mythology is a worldwide phenomenon, with common traits between independent cultures.

I believe that dragons were dinosaurs. Note the similarities. Scales, long tails, hot breath (possibly even breathing fire~there is at least one species of beetle that can breath fire) and the general appearance. Dragons are found in disconnected cultures around the globe. The so-called "fact" that dinosaurs were here millions of years ago is speculation. It is not observable to a modern scientist. However, I read a book in school about a cave painting of a dinosaur in California that those same scientists probably wish didn't exist. Also, there are several places around Texas (about 30 different sites) where human footprints are fossilized in the same rock as dinosaur footprints.

There were really dragons at one time.If you read in the Bible in the book of Job God speaks of the great powerful creatures he created and he speaks of the dragon.Only in that book of the Bible. Now if go into the book of Revelations he is speaking of another dragon. That dragon he is talking about is the devil. That is one of the names givin to the devil.I hope this helps

im not rlly sure, but a lot of ppl on this page are saying that dragons have had to exist because there in lots of different cultures that have never even seen eachother before wen they all thot of dragons, i just want to tell them thats not neccasarily true, the theory that some scientist blieve is that dragons nvr rlly existed, that our instincts and imagination kinda combined to make a mental guideline of what animals to avoid, the most common example the europeon dragon has the body of a lion, the scales and neck of a serpent, and the talons of a bird( back then some birds were so big, they could lift u up with little or no effort)
-
No...Why do I believe this, I have not seen one in a museum along side a skeletal dinosaur...

Don't be silly it is beyond the laws of both chemistry and biology that any life form could breath fire.
