I have an older(1986 I think)RCA XL-100 TV, about a month ago my son got rid of his game cube and we bought an Apex DVD / VCR Combo. Hooked it up as per instruction. Sound but no picture. With DVD/VCR off we get picture on a VHS Channel. Any Ideas?

I agree with the previous poster, Apex makes absolute junk. I would say that the problem could be the Apex device, or it may not be connected correctly. Your best bet for connecting such a thing is with the old-style coaxial cable. The kind that screws onto the back of the DVD/VCR and then to the back of the TV. Just make sure the coaxial cable goes from the "output" port on the DVD/VCR to the TV. Hope this helps.

Not sure, but I would never own anything Apex makes again. I went thru 4 dvd players in one years time. Good luck.
