Try yoga or exercising. I have found that just being active in general helps depression significantly. Eat healthy things also and get proper sleep as this can also affect your mood. Good Luck :)

Exercise, Exercise, Exercise. You can also look into some books on congnitive therapy. David Burns is an excellent author on this topic. Cognitive therapy teaches you to change your outlook on things which then changes your mood. Therapy can also help many people. You may want to also look into a book titled Change Your Brain Change Your Life by Daniel Amen. I have not started the book yet but he had a special on PBS that was very good. He speaks about diet, exercise, and other ways to help with different problems of the brain. He does speak about medication but that is not all he suggests. But if all of the above fail and your depression is severe enough to keep you from functioning then you may have to consider taking medication.

i am pretty sure you are not alone but with all of us. drugs are manmade and herbs are natures nourishment. eat drink and be merry. maybe your diet has something to do with the problem
