Help answer this question below.

I am a U.S citizen and going to have a child in the U.S but the childs father lives in Jamaica to get my child a passport to go to jamaica my name can only be on the brith certifcate when i get to jamaica will i be able to put his name on it?

    As long as you have permission by the father to take the baby to Jamaica they can enter Jamaica. When you get to Jamaica you can apply for a Jamaica passport as well for your baby so they don't have limits on the length of stay.
    You can put any name as the father on the birth cert. You just need fathers permision to take baby out of country.

    all you do is list the father of the child at the time of birth and fill out the form and sent it in, why do you have to wait to get there.

    I think thats why we have an embassy. Or you could call the local immigration office since you want him to move here.
