i'm not sure about jobs in Washington
but i know some people in Canada who started working at Tim Hortons at the age of 14.
or you could also try jobs like babysitting or tutoring...
Ok, I'm not from Washington and I've never been there. But I started working for McDonald`s when I was 14, but that was a long time ago.
It is a hard job and low paying, but hey for a 14 year old it`s not all that bad. Since then I have done jobs that made me dream I was back working at McDonald`s.
You can always apply, and if you know someone already working there they can put a good word in for you, that helps a lot.

You're reading For a fourteen year old, what kind of summer jobs can you get in Washington State? I heard that McDonalds hires cleaners, but I just wanted to check.
