Help answer this question below.

Is a passport required to travel by air from Mexico City to Guatemala City?
is a passport required to travel by bus, car or foot from Mexico to Guatemala (through the border)?
---if a passport is required, does it get stamped in both airports?

    Are you an American citizen? If so, yes, you must have a passport to enter Guatemala...whether by air or land. I don't know about the stamp. See this website to read the passport requirement under the section labled "Entry/Exit requirements." No matter WHAT nation you are a citien of, I would not enter Guatemala without a valid passport!

    you don't need a pasport to go to mexico but you need one to go to guatamala
