Help answer this question below.

Advice needed for moving an upright spinet piano: 1.Does it hurt to placed the piano sit flat instead of keep it upright? 2. It fits in my minivan if I place it flat. Does anybody have any experience using minivan to move a piano?

    Even though it may not hurt the piano much, it is not advisable to do so. Any piano after being moved must be "tuned".
    I personally, would get a pickup from a U-Haul to move it, they are only $20 a day plus mileage. It may be worth every penny!!
    There are also "piano movers" you can call and ask pricing (check the yellow pages). It may be cheaper than you think.
