You can always check out a book store or a library for baby name books, they give you alot of names out of the ordinary. I like the name brooke, cheyenne, abby, annabele, cassidy, aubrey, madison, but i think everyone had different preferences on what they are looking for in a name, so a book would be a good investment because when you say they name and see it written down you will know if its what you want. another option is maybe to name your child after a female who you hghly admire such as your mom or grandmother, etc. Lots of luck and congrats on the baby..

I like Dylan. I know its used for boys mostly, but boys names are becoming so popular for girls. Taylor, Ashtynn...

You can always use names of flowers and plants for a little girl and they won't seem too girlish once they grow up. Violet, Rose, Bryony, Jasmine, Lily, Marigold, Hazel, Hyacinth, Poppy, Primrose, etc.

How about Donald? I know it's used mainly for men, but it's the modern world and I think we all need to adapt to the standards that society sets for us.

I always thought that if I had a girl she would be named Mia. I knew a girl in high school who I hated, and her name was Mia, but I could never be mean back to her, because I loved her name.

I would suggest that you look for a name that is more than "pretty for a little girl." Don't forget that the little girl is going to grow up into a woman, and will probably hate being stuck with Missy or Princess. My favorites are Abbey and Hannah.

Don't forget, that little girl will grow up one day, so best not to go down the pixie-trixie route..they'll only get hassle when they go to school aswell as the adult workplace.
