The Jewish people had been, for europeans, a people hated for a long time. At some time in history, the Roman Catholic church began to hold them responsible for the death of Christ. This gave carte blanche for any noble who owed a Jew money (as moneylending was one of the few professions Jewish people were allowed to work in) to renege on his debt by killing or driving out the Jews from his area.

So, the stage was set for the Nazis to turn this into a dogma. They needed a scapegoat for the economic troubles of post WW1 Germany. By blaming the Jewish people and confiscating their wealth (only a small percentage of Jewish people were, in fact, wealthy), Hitler could claim back the lands taken by the Allies (by saying that the League of nations was a Jewish conspiracy) and to put Germany on a war economy.

But it was not only the Jews that Hitler and the Nazis targetted. They also saw the Romany (Gypsies) as a different kind of threat, and tried to annihilate them as a people as well.
Then they picked on anyone who opposed them: Catholics, Protestants, communists and anyone they saw as not contributing to the state (mentally challenged, disabled etc).

The Nazis were just all round "lovers of mankind", as long as mankind were blonde and blue-eyed.

You see the jews have been enveied for along time because they have been able go any where with nothing and make a life of every thing. This is a known fact that they have moved around europe since exodus, christians were taught that the jews had every thing to do with the voting for christs, I will not mention it because it will just loose the point of what I have learned. After the great war there were guidlines for how germany was to pay for the reperations for the cost of the war, so this stemmed the roots of contempt for the nations abroad and for the people who were welll off so to speak , Germany was in finacial trouble and inflation crazy, while veterans of the war starved the industialists and bankers were not starving. The reality of this is that Hitler used the Jews as a scapegoat for the jews would be a target and really the europe and world at that time had a problem with the jews so when hitler came to office he enacted the race laws he also has his night of broken glass and this was because of the reasons why germany and the world problems were because of a Race of people who with out a nation were able to aspire to all the things that any other nation less country could ever dream to accoplish and that accomplishment was through Jewlery, Banking, movie making, the arts, the sciences the jews aspired to all of these things that Hitler believed german people should exell and dominate and if not academically and passively than it shall be by force and the final which I will not say but I have not forgot. You know as well as I do if hitler were not so preoccupied with hate and reprisal he would have won the war
