- Press down and then release the Num Lock key in the upper-left corner of the number key pad on the right side of your keyboard so that the corresponding LED turns on.
  
  Then enter the digits of your birth years using the keys in that key pad.

- There should be a set of keys that have numbers on them (other than the number row). These correspond to the number pad. Turn on the numlock, and they'll type numbers instead of letters.
