Are the blood requirements in Acts 15:29 still in effect for current Christians. If not why was it brought up at the Council at Jerusalem?

You're reading If Jesus is a created god according to NWT, how is it that in Isaiah 43:10-11, God tells that Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me? My JW friend cannot answer this for me.

So we have two Saviors?
Hosea 13:4
Yet I have been the LORD your God Since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any god except Me,For there is no savior besides Me. So, Jesus is a created god and he is our Savior too...

In God's Word the Bible, both are referred to as Saviors.

Yes, I agree, but in the NWT version of the Bible John 1:1 refers to Jesus as 'a god' See Hosea 13:4. As God Himself tells us there is only one Savior, then God the Father and God the Son are of the same substance of being.

Not at all or else Moses, Ehud, Othniel etc... are all God also. The context about there being no God or Savior is in the context of the idols of the nations. He isn't using those negative phrases in "absolute terms" or else he couldn't be the "God of gods". Why? Because he is the God of the living, so if he is the God of gods then those gods must be living.

Interesting discussion here. It might be of interest to also note a passage from Hebrews 5:7 as it is speaking in regard to Jesus Christ. It basically points out that Jesus "offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death"...
Who was the "Him" which Jesus offered up prayers and supplication to?
If this "Him" was able to "Save" Jesus, wouldn't he then be a Savior to Jesus?
IMO these are certainly questions worth pondering over.
