You can google the beep codes. Just type in the sequence of beeps, like 2 short 1 long or whatever beeps you are receiving. You should find an explanation.

any board newer than about 15 yrs there are only 2 beep code, "beep" which means everything seems ok and "beep beep beep beeeeeep" or similar which means graphics error, either the graphics card is faulty or it is not sitting in its socket firmly enough. try taking out the graphics card and cleanin out any dust from inside payin particular atention to any fans, my guess there might be a glogged fan on your AGP card causing it to overheat if its onboard .......:(
