a) that doesn't work for everyone b) the pill/shot doesn't block the psychological craving c) it's temporary-the cravings are more often than how often you can take the pill/shot d) that's costly e) side effects f) obviously, if that worked there wouldn't be AA in every city g) not acessible to young teens who party n drink n smoke and don't want to get caught. Most addictions start at an early age. By then it's too late. h) It is actually not a wise idea. You don't want to treat one drug addiction with another drug (even if it's prescripted) The person may start to associate shots/needles with relief of cravings. So now the needle becomes an 'escape' for them, etc i) etc. ya have to experience it firsthand to know
