Eeeek, its only 3 months to Christmas and you ask a question like that, of course I do, I'm a good boy and have been good all year ( when people are watching ), I'm too old for a bike I guess, but maybe ... just maybe :-p
-
No. I never did actually. My parents never lied to me about Santa Claus. Please don't get offended parents who told their kids that Santa is real. I can understand why you do/did it. After all, it does tend to make the child behave better. But once the kid finds out Santa isn't real, they will probably be upset to know that you lied to them. And yes, it's a lie, there is no other way to get around it.
-
I believe in Santa and the spirit of Christmas a lot more than I believe in Coca Cola's vision of Christmas. Actually, that is a lie. I was brought up with Hogmany (hog - mannay) as the big festival, with presents and first-footing. Our town was never really richj or really poor. We had a great sense of community, though and that was what Hogmany was all abut. Family and community has always been important to me. Christmas - the religious festival is nice to attend, but the commercialisation is horrific. All the wonderful Pagan festivals have gone that way - Easter and Halloween as well. Remember your family and friends at Christmas - give them a call or send a card - and enjoy the REAL spirit of Christmas with the ones you hold nearest and dearest. Ho,Ho,Ho, Merry Christmas.
-
Oops... ignore this.
-
No, but I do enjoy *The Santa Clause*.
-

I wish. Apparently there isn't one. Clinically proven that he isn't real. So I guess I'll have to go with the scientists. But I wish he was real.
-
The child in me still wants to believe in santa espically on christmas eve I will look up into the sky for the slighest chance that I might see rudophs noes in the dark sky. But in reality their is no Santa.
-
Of course, why wouldn,t we? He,s been visiting me ever since I were a kid, I have no reason not to believe in him. His feelings would be hurt if he saw this question.
-
I believe in my dad so yes I do believe in him.
-
I believe in Santa. He came through my neighborhood last night riding a sleigh in a motorcade.
-
i truely believe! i loved the magic of christmas when i was a child, now i am trying to let my children experience the same magic.
-
yes. of course. everyone knows that Santa Claus is real. Of course.
-
In China he is called Christmas Old Man. In the United Kingdom, he is known as Father Christmas. People in Russia use the name Grandfather Frost, and in the United States, he is dubbed Santa Claus. Many view this jolly old man who sports a large belly and snow-white beard as the very personification of Christmas. But it is also common knowledge that Santa Claus is a myth, a legend based on traditions associated with a fourth-century bishop of Myra (in modern-day Turkey). Customs and traditions have always exerted a powerful influence on celebrations, and Christmas is no different. The Santa myth is just one example of folklore tied to a popular holiday. While some people claim that Christmas customs are based on events recorded in the Bible, in reality most of these customs have pagan sources. No, I don't believe in folklore.
-
Nope.

I believe that Saint Nicholas that wandered England centuries ago existed, but the jolly fat man invented in the 1950's by Coke is a marketing ploy to get people to overspend on Christmas is nonsense.
-
Yep. I met him in North Pole, AK. I can have him mail a letter to you to prove it unless you want to meet him too. ;)

Certainly yes.I believe in every thing that gives joy to children. Who ever will give such happiness to young ones than Santa Claus! Even though we are "Hindus" my little grand daughters love to see Santa. Our ancient scripture "Rig Veda" proclaims "let noble thoughts come to us from every side".

-
I always have and I always will.
-
Right Now, I am going through the stage where you don't know what. Your friends are telling you one thing and your parents are telling you another. I say just keep your head up, go to your mom/dad, and ask them face to face. [though I tryed it, it doesn't really work for my parents] But my mom still thinks I am a child even when I am in 6th grade. So just don't listen to what everyone else is saying, just ask your parents to tell you the truth, and if they don't explain to them that you are ready to know and that you'd rather hear it from them than from friends.
-
I believe in the spirit behind Santa.
-
At my age you bet I believe in Santa Claus
-
VIRGINIA, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except [what] they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men's or children's, are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge. Yes, VIRGINIA, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus. It would be as dreary as if there were no VIRGINIAS. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished. Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies! You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the chimneys on Christmas Eve to catch Santa Claus, but even if they did not see Santa Claus coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that is no sign that there is no Santa Claus. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world. You may tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived, could tear apart. Only faith, fancy, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, VIRGINIA, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding. No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives, and he lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood. Stole from http://www.newseum.org/yesvirginia/ and yes i believe
-

YES! He was Crucified so we could have presents and a few days Holiday and in return we allowed him to have some Chocolate Rabbits around Easter. I think the Jews call it Smoked Kipper. I know the Arab name for Santa Claus is Mustapha Beard.
-

I believe in Christmas miracles. Children call this Santa Claus. I don't think we're ever too old to believe in magic, even if the magic isn't sliding down a chimney near you :D
