i seriusly cant stand him. during the sabres and pens game (the ice bowl) all they talked about the whole game was crosby. its like shut up. lol

Amazingly (and I'm in no way a Pens fan), he actually seems to be the real deal. He's not a whiney brat like Lindros and he seems to know how to motivate himself for every game. I'm equally amazed at how well the captaincy is suiting him, and I'm sure he'll flourish. Of course, all that being said, the truth is that it's not that Crosby is overrated, it's that Ovetchkin is way underrated. (not a Caps fan either)

He is a little over rated. He is a really good player he does things that no one else can or has. He will be a icon in hockey soon enough. He is just a kid and I think that is why it bugs people. Actually watch him play and research some of the stuff he has done. You would be amazed. Even Gretzky(dont know how to spell) think's that he is good. That is saying something.

Sidney Crosby is definetly the real deal. He first of all is a warrior on the ice and most importantly makes his teammates on the ice better players. If you don't believe he is worth the hype why then does every other team develop plans to shut him down each and every game.

Sidney Crosby is just as overrated as ... LeBron James. That is to say, not at all. Sidney's young, very young. He's not even really old enough to be living on his own; he's living at Mario Lemieux's house. But he's already one of the best players in the world. Give him 20 more lbs and a couple more years experience and he will dominate like nobody has before him.

He is surrounded by a lot of good talent on the Penguins....I bet if you put him on a different team...he wouldn't do so well.....He gets most of his points from assists not from goals......without team mates that can actually score....I don't think Crosby would be all that!
