it is quite a peaceful time. can just shut off and not worry about anything. but if it was something really bad or if ur gonna be late for somewhere it sucks to wake up and panic
-
Except for when you dream about your problems. Then you wake up and say, "Whew, it was just a dream!" But then you realize that it *wasn't* just a dream, those problems really do exist!

Sleeping too much can be a sign of depression. But I know what you mean, escaping reality for a time (without the use of drugs of course). But how do you escape the nightmares? Hmmm...
-
That's my way of getting away from it all.
-
sleep? I do that through drinking...by the time I go to sleep I'm already numb and mindless....hence many of my answers on AB :p
-
Nah. I probably think about my problems more when I am asleep than when I am awake! Oh, irony!
-
Sometimes. Though sometimes I have horrid dreams and spend most my time not wanting to fall asleep..
-
If you have "Real" problems, you take them to bed with you.

Really no escape but is nice to take a little break from time to time.
