David and the Lions Den - hands down. I wouldn't make it a true story though (We all know how the movie "Alive" had some really boring parts). It would be good to jazz it up a bit with some explosions and maybe throw in a kick-ass monkey sidekick for some good laughs.

Samson, but it's been done, don't remember by who--Steve Reeves maybe? They took some liberties with the text, but I'll never forget their final scene where, instead of pushing on the pillars of the Philistine temple like it says in the Bible, he snapped his chains off their anchors, whipped one around each pillar like Indiana Jones's bullwhip, and HEAVED.
