There's no "ethnic American"... but my grandfathers & great-grandparents came over from Russia-occupied Poland in 1890-1910ish. I look basically Slavish, the dark-haired dark-eyed type.

I´m german and if I do not open my mouth and start to talk you would never know that I am german.There are no characteristics that would indicate my religion or nationality. I wonder if something is worong with me?

I am American. I don't think there are any traits that indicate that other than I speak American English. As to religion. I have none, so other than my saying that, there are no traits there.

Hmmm, well half my family is from the middle east, and the other half is from Ireland. So, I'm a mixture and I have no distinctive features. naturally tan (no orange!) - from middle east ancestry auburn hair - the irish in me temper - irish Well, I'll post some pictures soon and you can decide. I don't really know how to describe myself!

I am half Italian and half German. I'm kind of on the pale side. I imagine that comes from the German side of my family.

i have dark (black) hair, naturally tan but sort of on the fare compare to those of the same haritage. Good question!! its so intresting to see good blend of people from different back grounds and harritage all at one place...good melting pot.

Ok, let me just clear something up here first. There are no physical traits that correlate with religion. Religion is not genetic, nor is it a "race". There is some common acceptance of "Jewish" being used both as a religion and a race, but in most cases the two are quite separate. Back to the question. I am half Syrian and half Irish. (I am neither Muslim nor Catholic.) I have some interesting traits of both, but I don't think you'd be able to tell from looking at me. Most people guess that I'm Italian or Jewish until they hear my last name. Then they usually guess Lebanese, which is close. My hair is medium-dark brown with some red in it from my Mom's side. I also am pretty pale during the winter, and I have a few freckles. Oddly, I also tan pretty well in the summer, and have kind of a middle-eastern face with an irish nose. It's weird.
