doesn't really have to do with your age it is about YOU, how you act, your grades, and your resume. All the kids (teens) i know have summer jobs. It is easy if you make yourself stand out from the crowd and put a lot of effort into applying

I had the same problem..many many years ago I graduated when I was 16..had to go back to high school two years in a row to get a work permit signed, if you can imagine how stupid that was..don't know if it is still the same. One summer I got a job as a clerk for an insurance company that was putting in a huge new computer system and they were desperate for help..the next year I got a summer job with Dun & Bradstreet doing billing. Of course that was many many years ago..there are more people wanting these jobs but there are many more jobs available I should think because of the high-tech world in which we live.

raverr is right. It's how you present yourself in an interview. I would be confident and secure in myself when I was interviewing for a job. What kind of jobs are you applying for?
