Yes, God inspired the writing of the 66 books of the Bible, so ultimately, He is the Author. The Bible writers wrote under inspiration from God’s Holy Spirit. Any Bible translation committee can edit the Bible, however Bible scholars will compare their work to the oldest available extant Bible scrolls and expose any errors that the translators would make.
