Not exactly a high-profile case... But I'd like to know what happened to my mom's diamond engagement ring. We have our suspicions... but no evidence. And it's probably been at least 15-20 years now since it disappeared. I'd really like for her to get it back. I'm sure she'd be stoked. The problem is, it was probably sold/pawned by whoever took it a long, long time ago.

A historical mystery: the disapperance of the Capitol Building from the State of Franklin. The state existed from 1784 to 1788. It broke off from North Carolina because they felt they were not getting the protection from the state that they needed. It did not get enough votes in the Confederation Congress to be recognized as a state and reverted back to N.C. for a short time, but then became part of the creation of the state of Tennesee. At the Tennessee Centennial and International Exposition (1897) the Capitol Building was dismantled in Greenville (which had been the capital of Franklin) and brought to the exposition. After the exposition, it was dismantled again to be returned to Greenville. But then it mysteriously disappeared and never made it back to Greenville. No one knows what happened to it. The only part of the building that made it back was the key to the front door.

The Black Dahlia, or the Bordens , Lizzie was acquitted people don't take that into account. So if she didn't do it who did?. Not saying it couldn't be her but a jury found her innocent of the crime.And as far as the Black Dahlia she was obviousley killed by a medical person.. The vivesetcion and alI...Oh she was cut in half and drained I don't have the medical terms, I am pretty sure the perpetrator was my doctor that said fried food is bad and tred to convince me cigarrettes would lead me to no good..need I say more ,pure evil..I will withhold his name now, not out of fear I just can't spell or pronouce it.

One of my best friends was murdered & for the sake of her sons I would love to give that family that has suffered so much loss because of this tragic event some closure. Nothing will ever bring her back but I would feel a lot better knowing the one that took her life is off the streets & possibly unable to ever harass her kids or make them lose sleep thinking he may come after them. Or as they get older want to kill him & they go to jail & ruin their lives because of him. I worry about that a lot.
