- NEW!
Help answer this question below.
Simple enough. Try these things:
Assuming we are talking about an ordinary bruise, and you don't have ANY clotting disorder or other medical problems going on:
Take extra Vitamin C, and B Complex for a few days (stay within healthy doses!). Apply warm moist heat pack or pads and take aspirin 2-3 x a day to help disperse the hematoma under the skin faster so it will fade. Don't use the heat for more than 15-20 mins. every 4 hours or so 4 x a day. If it is on a leg, elevate the leg while you have the heat pad on it. Soaking in a warm bath will also do the same thing. Also, if it is in the legs or arms, using those muscles more (walking is good as is lifting things with the arms) will help to disperse the hematoma and get it to filter out into the other tissues faster.
Just do not do the exercise if the bruise is NEW or if it is getting larger, or if when you do the exercises with arms or legs it hurts more than MILDLY. You don't want to re-injure the vessels and tissues. Let Mother Nature do the rest.
See if you can get hold of some arnica cream and spread it on a few times a day.
toothpaste, absolutey. i'm not kidding.
I agree with the arnica cream or gel, your choice. You can also take arnica pellets sublingually.
Press lightly on the brused area in a spreding manner.Do this twice a day until gone.
Just try these home remedies:
Solomons Seal Root in a bandage or rags gets rid of bruises within hours. She adds that dark-haired people can use it straight but people with fair hair and eyes should dilute it.
Vitamin K creamicon applied topically (this vitamin is not normally taken orally except through a physician) will heal most bruises within 48-72 hours by causing the blood seepage in the affected area to clot. Major food sources for Vitamin K include green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, green cabbage, kale, Swiss chard, turnip greens, broccoli, tomatoes, liver and lean meats and dairy products.
Use a cloth soaked in natural apple cider vinegarBragg's Apple Cider Vinegar and cold water as a compress.
Immediately apply distilled witch hazel to the injured area using sterile cotton. Witch hazel will stop swelling in a remarkable hurry.

I hope your bruise gets better!
i think u need alot of potassium ..when u dont get enuff of that you will bruise more and it will take longer for it to heal.
The best way is to treat it correctly as soon as possible after the incident that caused it. (Usually known as RICER) Same as any bleeding use pressure - use your hand to press on the area. This reduces immediate bleeding into the skin tissue. Also use ice wrapped in a damp cloth 10 to 20 minutes per hour for up to 72 hours. Heat should only be used after 72 hours and then with caution - preferably under the guidance of either a medical person or a sports med person. Rest is most helpful and will give your body systems a chance to deal with the bruising.
The moment you know you are going to get a bruise or right after apply Arnica to the area. It has worked for me in the past. When I wasn't able to apply the Arnica right away I did still bruise but the bruise didn't last as long. I am told that what the Arnica does is it keeps the blood from rising to the surface. You should be able to find the Arnca at your local health food atore. The people there are very helpful. It comes in different forms. I got mine in MX after a fall and it is an ointment which helps with inflamation. Good luck.
The right answer is to rub some Vitamin E oil on it. You can get it at your local drug store. That bruise will be history!
